Well now, what to say? Its a perfect sanctuary away to recharge the soul. The little touches (eggs, muffins, milk etc) already waiting give it an immediate homely feel from the moment you walk in. This place is a gem. Thank you for providing the escape for our wonderful weekend.

I wish I lived here! there is no greater compliment I could pay you than that. Everytjing from the lovely welcome, just like home cottage..( maybe even better! ) and the delicious scones gave us an absolutely perfectly wonderful weekend.

This was the first visit of this type as we're typical city types and we've not stayed in the country before so you've definitely set a standard high for future trips! Will be recommending this to friends from home who have never braved a holiday in the countryside and my friend and I would love to return.

Thank you to Barry and Mary for their wonderful hospitality. We expected high standards but it has surpassed them! The welcome, the environment and the barn were first class. Returned to the barns with 5 friends. Super weather for walking - out the back, up Losehill, across Mam Tor ridge, down to Edale and the train back to Hope. The 'Poachers Arms' did us proud. All 7 of us enjoyed a really nice meal, freshly cooked and excellent quality. Highly recommend it. Thanks again for the warm (edible) welcome! Our friends were most impressed as we knew they would be.
